The first photo is the most adorable thing I've ever seen and its now on my desktop at work. The funny thing is that several people have seen it and said, "Oh how sweet" followed promptly by, "Woah, look at that green grass!" Such a lush lawn is pretty much non-existant here in Australia and people are in awe that that's normal. And low maintenance I'm sure...you don't spend hours manicuring your lawn, do you Heather? :)

It has now become too cold for the wearing of flip-flops over here, but I'm glad she can now begin her life long love of flip-flops...

It's lucky it gets mowed! It has no treatment on it (other than what fertilizer the dogs provide) and certainly no "manicuring" heha ! :)
I think the neighbors mostly think it is an eye-sore, but having a big lawn is a luxury for which I am often grateful.
