Today after errands Teagan decided she wanted to climb one of the trees in our yard (with some help). Here's my little treehugger and monkey.
Or is that koala? She then decided she wanted to eat the leaves. (having recently discovered she likes spinach leaves- which we simply call "leaves")
Turns out the leaves of the apple tree don't taste very good. :)
We tried the bigger climbing tree next to the house, but Teagan wasn't thrilled.
I imagine when she's older, we may have trouble keeping her out of the trees. :)

Fish or Cowgirl?
Last night I was able to attend one of Teagan's swim lessons. Matt's been taking her Tuesday nights at the Middleburg Heights Community Center. I'm usually still at work. The class is for pre-schoolers (3-5) but they snuck her in and she's doing fairly well. She's learning to kick and float and put her face in the water (which she isn't keen on yet). She does love swimming though. Here are a couple of photos from last night.
Then today Teagan saw her cowgirl clothes in her room and decided she wanted to wear her "yee-haw boots and dress and hat". She also thought that I should wear my yee-haw hat and dress and so should Matt. :) Actually, I think she's wearing my hat from Halloween, but it suffices. Anyway, here's Teagan having snack in the backyard. Yee-haw!

The start of a new era
I'm jumping on the bandwagon of blogspot. I've been inspired by Jenn and Kristy! This seems like a good format for posting updates on the McFarland Clan. (mostly Teagan, but you know...) :)
So here goes nothing. :)
We'll start with a photo of Miss T and Mama. I don't think you've seen this one. It's from early March. Teagan's made a lot of progress on her "Cheese!" face since then. ;)
